Gillian Linden

I was born in London and studied fine art at the Paris American Academy, Paris.

My art explores the many journeys of 3 dimensional proportions, opening up many different vistas, by representing the balance between the figurative, surreal abstract worlds of life. Each artwork I create, offers the audience a 3D sensorial experience that continues to challenge the viewer in seeking out the many complexed layers forming each piece of artwork.

The majority of my art to date explores my fascination with the rabbit form and revolves around the symbolic meanings for abundance, comfort, fertility, sentiment, desire and vulnerability. Each artwork centralises a fusion between a human/rabbit character, morphing itself into many different forms within a surrealistic world.

To date I use a variety of mediums to recreate my 3D compositions. Each piece of artwork is created by assembling a complexed system of digital layers, using my own geometric, abstract, or figurative drawn forms in recreating a world of either reality or abstract surrealism.

My work is mostly sold to private collectors. I have exhibited at many major exhibitions, alongside some of the most iconic urban/pop artist’s. Current artworks have been featured at Art Basel, Miami 2023 and Paris this year.
